West Ham United will be without the services of Jack Wilshere for Saturday’s trip to Fulham in the Premier League.
Wilshere, 26, was initially ruled out for six weeks in September following surgery on his ankle, and made his comeback against Newcastle United earlier this month.
The midfielder has missed the most recent wins over Cardiff City and Crystal Palace, however, and will also be absent for the trip to Fulham.
The news was confirmed by West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini during his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
And it would be fair to say that the West Ham fans are not pleased.
In fairness to Wilshere, it is not exactly as if the midfielder wants to be injured, and no-one will be more disappointed than him that he cannot seem to stay fit.
After just five appearances for West Ham since arriving during the summer, the Englishman is seemingly facing another spell on the sidelines.
