England international Shaw moved to Old Trafford from Southampton in 2014. He has made 287 appearances for the Red Devils, but injuries have decimated his 11-year spell at the so-called Theatre of Dreams.

A badly broken leg suffered early on in his United career kept Shaw out for 11 months, with it claimed that stints on the treatment table have cost him five years in total. He does still have two years left to run on his contract in Manchester.
