Despite being named as a ‘definite target’ by Phil Hay, the Liverpool striker has joined Swansea on loan, and Adam Pope confirmed the news for Leeds fans.
Understandably, many United supporters had thoughts on the matter, and they took to Twitter to give their views.
Some members of the fanbase weren’t too happy with the news that they’d missed out on Brewster.
One supporter said that he was jealous, while others bemoaned the Yorkshire club’s lack of transfer action thus far.
Others had a much more optimistic reaction to this news as another subsection of the Elland Road faithful seemed to be unmoved by Brewster signing for the Welsh outfit.
To make matters even worse, it was Swansea that had signed the striker. 12 months ago the Swans were again negatively affecting Leeds’ transfer plans as they scuppered United’s chances of landing Daniel James.
In other news, Leeds may want to make a U-turn on one man’s departure after a recent performance.
