Roma are preparing for life after Ranieri, as the veteran coach will retire at the end of the season. The 73-year-old tactician, who previously announced his retirement after guiding Cagliari to safety last season, was convinced to step back into management for a third spell at Roma. Under his leadership, the Giallorossi have climbed to sixth place in Serie A and are firmly in contention for a Champions League spot.

According to one of the standout names to replace Ranieri is Fabregas. Since taking charge of Como, the former star midfielder at Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea, has guided the club to a stable mid-table position in what is their first campaign back in Italy’s top division. His impact has not gone unnoticed, and Roma have already initiated contact with him regarding the potential vacancy.
