Celtic sealed their third signing of the January window on Tuesday as they brought Dunajska Streda to Parkhead on a four-year deal and it looks like they’ve outdone bitter rivals, Rangers, already.
The Gers brought Jermain Defoe in last week in a bid to boost their firepower up front and the Hoops have had no hesitation in doing the same as they sign three forwards in the space of four days.
PSG’s Timothy Weah – son of George – and West Brom’s Oliver Burke joined on loan before Bayo was confirmed on the 8th; the Ivorian is surely the most exciting of the three if his goalscoring numbers in Slovakia are anything to go by.
The 21-year-old has chalked up an incredible 10 goals and five assists in just 16 league games and could be exactly what Brendan Rodgers’ men have been missing since the departure of Moussa Dembele in the summer – the Hoops have missed the Frenchman this season and may have been regretting the decision to let him go.
The Bhoys and Ghirls certainly think that Bayo can step up, as they reacted to the signing on Twitter…
